NST Minimal

The NST Minimal ISO image allows one to install the NST distribution onto a system which can not boot directly from DVD or a USB drive. The ISO contains all necessary files to perform a NST hard drive install and then run yum install nst-live to build out a full NST distribution.

The basic steps are:

  • Download the NST Minimal ISO image.
  • Burn the NST Minimal ISO image to CD media.
  • Boot from the CD.
  • Install NST Minimal to the system hard disk.
  • Boot from the hard disk installation.
  • Update the system to a full NST distribution.
